Jamie & Terri Griffis
Let's get to know each other!
Jamie and Terri Griffis are licensed Realtors in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, serving buyers and sellers throughout the Chattahoochee Valley, including Harris and Muscogee counties in Georgia and Russell and Lee counties in Alabama, as well as the Florida Panhandle. As owners of 1827 Real Estate, they are known for their local expertise, strong community ties, and passion for lake and land properties.
Jamie and Terri live on Lake Harding along the Chattahoochee River and also own a small cattle farm in Fort Mitchell, Alabama. They truly live the lifestyle they help others find — from waterfront homes and recreational land to family homes and investment properties. Their personal experience gives them valuable insight into the unique lake, land, and residential markets across Georgia and Alabama.
In 2024, Jamie and Terri were honored with the George Rowell Golden Rule Award, an award recognizing integrity, professionalism, and dedication to uplifting others within the real estate industry. Being nominated by fellow Realtors and recognized for their commitment to clients, colleagues, and the community was an honor that meant a great deal to them.
Terri grew up in the Columbus area, where her family owned a local electrical business, and she has been a licensed Realtor since 2005. Her professional accomplishments include multiple Circle of Excellence awards, earning the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation, and serving as GARPAC Chair and a local Board of Realtors director.
Jamie also grew up in Columbus and has deep ties to Fort Benning through his family’s long military history. With two grandfathers, three uncles, and his father all serving and retiring from the United States Army, service and community have always been important parts of his life. Before entering real estate, Jamie spent 20 years in medical sales. His passion for land began while spending time on his farm, realizing how meaningful land ownership and outdoor living could be for families. That passion led him into real estate, where he now specializes in helping clients buy and sell recreational, hunting, farmland, and waterfront properties. Jamie is also a member of the Realtor Land Institute.
Jamie and Terri have three grown children and love spending time with their grandson, whether cheering him on at football and baseball games, relaxing on the lake, or enjoying life on their farm.
